About iPeace

Imagine a living organism made of people, regardless of their nationality, sex, religion, race or politics; imagine millions contributing and sharing freely their energy, talent, creativity and love; imagine an organism that keeps pouring money into initiatives, projects and causes that its members believe can help bring about peace; imagine an organism that can save lives: this organism is iPeace.

iPeace is a hub for serious peace initiatives, a platform that actively supports, advertises, promotes and aids in financing them. It offers a forum where its community debates, discusses and educates each other on what projects to support.

People fall in love with iPeace, giving it their art, ideas and connections. People feel ownership in iPeace and actively help it to grow and spread. Based on the profound belief that peace comes from within, iPeace spreads 'virally' to one's immediate environment, creating pockets of peace that connect to each other and grow. Eventually its network will cover the entire world.

I am so inspired and honored to be part of this special group of brothers and sisters....I truly believe that from love comes love and as long as we all give it freely to others will they in turn give it to those they know and on and on....my cousin, pictured w/me, is with the group Agape....she has a loving soul and is as tall as the highest of mountains in love and spirit..I, the shorter one, am learning that no matter how dark life can sometimes be, there is always a rainbow lurking close by....peace and love to all....Linda M

This idea below is really not new, but is needing to be bolstered here on I-peace. I add my take on what everyone really is looking for... peace within:

What one sentence best describes your idea?
Peace begins from within so there are many who teach how and we need to show the world all the choices to inspire those not involved to begin learning self-peace-making techniques.
Describe your idea in more depth.
As part of I-Peace, there needs to be a free listing of web sites where anyone can go to find a teacher in their area who can shine the light upon one looking to find peace within. As an example, I am a board member of the Healing Tao Instructors website. (Once our website is fixed), we are a source for anyone to find training in Taoist exercise and meditation. We are not alone. There are many paths, but many people don’t know they can transform themselves with the adaptation of a philosophy or with lessons in peaceful transformation within.
What problem or issue does your idea address?
One must be educated and realize the unlimited amount of knowledge that begins by taking one step. We play on the computer and yet we also can work to transform ourselves. That needs to be put out in front of the public more and more.
Who would benefit the most and how if your idea were to become a reality,?
All people who aren’t yet involved in self-transformation techniques as a way of life can become alerted to stories from those who have helped themselves. They will stop blaming everything outside themselves for their problems. No longer pointing at their families’ problems on up to the entire world’s big old challenges, they will begin realizing, “It’s Time to Get Wise”, as the film, “What the Bleep do We Know” said as their motto... I agree! (www.Whatthebleep.com)

Describe the optimal outcome should your idea be selected and successfully implemented:

This would be just one more group on I-peace, really. It wouldn’t take much to implement. Simply said, all members who are already in the fold of I-Peace need to begin more in making certain everyone they know link their websites and info who offer such education to the public. I-Peace can encourage those who do not yet practice any self healing of their attitudes, health, and as yet are simply dreaming about peace, to explore and find for themselves a way to find harmony within before hoping to spread peace to the world.

How would you measure it?

Immeasurable changes happen when people do their best to transform themselves first before pointing fingers at others.

If you'd like to recommend a specific organization, or the ideal type of organization, to execute your plan, please do so here:
Besides The Healing Tao Instructors Association whose web site in transition will be soon up again at www.TaoInstructors.org (You can get to one page now, but it will be totally transformed.) Our teachers’ international site is www.universal-tao.com and also a large group bringing many sources of teachers together is www.NQA.org as an example of those in Taoism who have helped me to help myself... continually and never-endingly to grow and improve my daily practices. My idea is to not limit to one modality, but everyone who feels their way helps people to transform must be invited to participate. Groups would lay out the ways to get in touch with their instructors and individual instructors could be found for a great variety of costs. Those that barter or give free classes will be highlighted.
