Hello! We are from Abbottabad. Being fundamental part of our registered NGO (LIFE SAVERS) we are feeling great moral responsibility to seek and contribute something valuable and solid relief for the internally displaced persons of War affected areas of NWFP Pakistan. The affecter families of these areas are becoming homeless through migration to the peaceful cities of country to have a safe shelter and some relief for them. Being blessed with the true spirit of feeling hardships of these homeless large families, we luckily have the best and countable things with us which can lead to build a comfort giver tent village at ABBOTTABAD for such families. The brilliant features or resources (helping tools) of us are as under.

a) A local philanthropist has already donated us a vast piece of land at a very accessible point near by the main road in city. The land is ideal for making a tent village with all necessities; in addition he also donated 8 tents and blankets for IDPs.

b) We are well blessed with our staff members and a team of educated and energetic young volunteers who are truly ambitious to do some practical good for the displaced ones. After the Earthquake of 8th Oct 2005, we established a tent village at the similar point for the earthquake affecters of district BATTGRAM (from 10 Nov 2005 – 31 Mar 2006). We provided earthquake affecters at tent village to our level best with every basic need of their life including tents, plastic sheets, blankets, clothes, mattresses, a shelter school for kids, medicines and regular presence of paramedics to cope with any emergency there, uniformed and skilled security men, provision of food, water and electricity, a large but combined kitchen, a play ground for the young affecters, separate washroom for men and women and many more. So we have vast proven experience of not only managing a tent village but also helping and healing the miseries of displaced ones through a tent village, which in indeed an unmatched blessing for homeless people at the first step.

c) Abbottabad is rather closer to SWAT and MALAKAND and so easily accessible for the displaced people as compared to go to Peshawar, Nowshera, Rawalpindi and many other cities in order to have shelters at tent villages. Moreover, the weather is very pleasant in Abbottabad and the most suitable for establishing a tent village, whereas in Peshawar and such other cities are already burning with hot and rising temperature day by day. In these cities except Abbottabad affecters at tent villages are already facing great problems due to hot weather specially children, old ones and injured persons are taking it so hard to live under the scorching beams of sun and hot tents. Naturally every affecter will give priority to seek shelter for him in a tent village at Abbottabad.
d) Our Organization has deep relationship with all the local govt. offices which can be very help full to facilitate the displaced ones residing in our tent village.

Regarding above true opportunities with us our Organization is looking for generous and worthy cooperation and assistance of National and International Humanitarian Organizations to implement our noble cause in form of a tent village in order to give a soothing relief to the neediest IDPs. The cooperation, financial support, valuable guidance and quick responses from the Philanthropists, NGOs and Ingo's will be highly admired and received with a thankful spirit.

Testimonials would be furnished on demand.

Child sponsorship is in the long-term partners which help build a self-reliant and sustainable community that brings out the best in every child. This is not just with children but also with their families and communities. Life Savers ensures that your money is being invested not just in the life of one child.
