Há opiniões divergentes sobre a idade de Buda. Para alguns, seu nascimento e morte aconteceu em torno de 566 e 486 antes de Cristo. Thousands of Buddhist monks attend a ceremony offering alms in a district of Bangkok, Thailand. The event, called Vesak, is to celebrate the birth of Buddha. In general, references are linked to the Buddha Siddhartha Gautama, the first religious teacher and founder of Buddhism. There are differing opinions about the age of Buddha. We must work together to achieve our objectives, "was one of the phrases in which the Burmese Nobel Peace Prize for 1991 sent to three thousand people who crowded in front of his home in Yangon.
