I do not live there now, but this was my home for many many years.
I had 3 solar powered IBM computers in it decades before the invention of the world wide web.
Writing programs, for its invention, I knew would come, I know am converting a lifetimes work, to the main programing languages used in this medium of cgi php5 and xhtml1.1
I had a car radiator inside the tipi with spring water from uphill of me running into a garden hose, through the radiator and back out. Then put a 12volt fan behind it, connected to a solar panel, so the hotter the sun was, the more my airconditioner cooled my lodge in summer.
I had my fire in a pit, and heated the ground, and slept on the ground, so in winter, if I got cold I simply rolled closer to the center of my lodge.
I used twine I made, to make a dream catcher on the inside above head level using the poles, to place blankets on, to be my roof, and hold in the heat of the fire, added a liner on the inside, with a vent in the floor for the fire to get air in winter when the snows piled up over the bottom of the lodge.
I have wind generators, and in winter storms, use the extra power to run heaters to use the bitter winds of winter to heat my home.
I am a man of peace, learning to walk a more gentle path, that all life around me may prosper from my existence on this earth.
