Peace is my domain,
it is yours as well,

it is mind, body,
what they call the soul,

Why are seas not tranquil

and skies so turbulent

when is it that the lion stopped roaring

and there was misgiving that peace has

woken from its slumber. why is it we abrogate

it into realms of vapidity, and honour the violent

why is agression, belligerence so preferred

and love deferred?

their peace, my peace

it is a cry, a shout

it is a whisper,

tangible

intangible

it is hoarse, cracked

like a mirror

it is a voice, it

is conscience

it is tears cascading

it is blood rehearsing

it is the tainted sword

maurauding, but

it is my peace
