When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I am a born activist

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other

So what is it?: All of the above and more. People need to accept that there is more than one valid view.

More: There is no one absolute correct answer to the ills of the world When people can learn to embrace many cultures and belief systems outside of their own narrow view, then the differences become less an issue of US versus THEM and more of a collaboration of people, ideas, goals, needs and an acceptance of the belief that we all deserve a safe place to live, clean water, enough foods, shelter, clothing education and to live without fear. These are basic human rights. When peoples basic needs are met, violence in many forms decreases.

More about me: I am an artist and curator. I have worked on projects meant to effect change from the safety of my studio and my computer. Ideas, images and the ability to get them out into the world can be powerful. There are amazing collaborations and projects happening around the world that are only possible through the internet. I enjoy working on projects that raise awareness and educate. I am passionate about the environment, especially about the Hudson River and the concept of freedom and universal human rights.
