Also involved in Voluntary Bereavement Counselling. The tragedies that have befallen many, are beyond words and measure. Some have had entire Families perish - murder, suicide, cancer, car fatalities etc. It is indescribably heart-breaking, and one feels so helpless, really. All I can do is listen, try to ease a minutiae of their broken hearts, and channel Healing Prayers. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most challenging experiences yet, and very painful - especially if you are an Empath. How those who suffer this daily agony cope, is both awe-inspiring, and other times, terribly distressing as some have simply lost the will to live.
It certainly does change you. Hopefully, for the better...
Compassion, truly listening as opposed to merely hearing, and counting one's Blessings daily, are qualities that have deepened immeasurably as a result.
Finally, like all, will be constantly learning, and hopefully, evolving whilst on this Earthly Journey...:)

A case for the Rescue Worker?
For some reason Rescue Work is not always acknowledged as being a ‘legitimate’ form of spiritual work in some circles and groups and is often classed as a ‘taboo’ subject.
