I believe that wars are money-based. One faction that has less takes from the other faction that wants more -- by force.

I feel the US is a prime example of this in terms of the Iraq war.

I'm a writer who is passionate about both local and international issues about peace (non-violence in our streets to gun control to wars between countries). I have been a Public Relations Consultant specializing in Government Relations for over 25 years. As a child, I considered becoming a missionary.

It is the upmost importance to me to make a difference in this world by spreading positivity through any means. Right now, it is by writing song lyrics and supporting local causes that deal with violence.

I am a single mother of 3 bi-racial children so issues regarding non-violence, human rights, hunger, poverty and education mean a lot to me.

I've been hungry. I've been poor. I've been uneducated. I've been discriminated against and I am a SURVIVOR of horrific violence.

I want to make it so NO ONE has to go through what I have.
