Maura

I am living in this remote, peaceful little village at the Irish west coast.

And I am just back home from visiting my dear neighbor Maura who is staying in her car, surrounded by supporters and police, outside the gate of the corrib gas project.

She is on day 9 of a hunger strike!

She loves her homeland and has vowed to protect it with her life.

This is happening right here, on my doorstep.

And I want you all to know about it.

The pipeline Shell is planning to… Continue

"Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients--without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate's chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person's illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved. "When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally… Continue

Aloha Doris

Hello from Canada. It is ten minutes to Sunday Midnight August 14th, 2011.  I have not visited ipeace, well probably for well over a year and at this moment it looks like you have not been here for some time your self.  Last time I visited there seemed to be dozens of people on line here and tonight just me and one other person in the whole wide cyber world.

Has something happened ?  Did everyone go somewhere else in cyberspace ?

Or is it the time of day and night around Europe and North America.

There is a big moon in the eastern sky, perhaps your western, at this hour of dreams

Peaceful is nature's night

OK, I leave you this little message in the i-peace bottle for whenever you come look. I hope the wooly life on the wilding coast goes on splendidly.  I will e-mail you directly some time soon.

"" The return of God is one of the most ancient expectations of the human race. Every world religion has presented itself as preparing for his return. Every religion still awaits it. What do the expectations imply ? We already know God in his outward manifestations: by his laws, his commands, his word. That is the Logos, the masculine side of God. What we await in the Second Coming is what we lack: God's inner dynamics or process. This-God in his creation-is the essence of the feminine, traditionally enacted in his mysteries. The return is, therefore, the emergence of the feminine side of God, which has been gradually taking shape for centuries in what we call the unconscious. The time has now come when we can deal creatively with the concept of God as the union of opposites and, therefore , see the feminine no longer through a masculine glass but face to androgynous face.
