DISCONNECTION: Fear, greed and self-interest at the top; despair, cynicism and information overload at the bottom. People with a social conscience at grass-roots support leaders, rather than each other, but leaders are inaccessible.

Despite the current big DISCONNECTION, I have faith in the conscience of the people, and the willingness of the powers-that-be to listen - to a large enough section of the population. I have therefore taken a 5-year career break (thus far) to help connect the conscience of the people to what happens in our neighbourhoods and in our world.
