بلدة العباسية
تقوم على البقعة التي كانت عليها قرية (يهود) بمعنى مدح وعرفت هذه القرية باسم اليهودية إلا أن أهلها استبدلوه باسم :"العباسية" عام 1932 نسبة لشيخ صالح مدفون فيها . وبلدة العباسية من قرى قضاء يافا الكبيرة وتقع إلى الشرق من مدينة يافا وتبعد عنها 13 كم، وترتفع 50 م عن سطح البحر تبلغ مساحة أراضيها 20540 دونماً يحيط بها قرى دير طريف وجنداس وكفر عانة .
وقدر عدد سكانها عام 1922 (2437) نسمة ، وفي عام 1931م حوالي 3258 نسمة ، وفي عام 1945 (5800)نسمة منهم 5650 عربياً و150… Continue
