What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Other
More
Ignorance and lack of opportunity to live the values that most people find at the basis of their religion and culture. Educating youth for the future and promoting a values based , ethically founded civil society will address the issues that create extremism, prejudice and greed...such as food security and poverty. Also promoting, through higher education, critical inquiry will promote what I call in my book...Democracy and Islam...pre-emptive peace-making. What others call conflict prevention.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
