When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I'm just a peaceful person

So what is it?: Lack of love of humanity -we don't see others as fellow humans

More: We're operate on fear - fear of being wrong, of being judged, fear of being controlled, fear of standing out. So we have to be right - and make others wrong. We're critical of others (even when we don't know them), we manipulate others, we hide ourselves and keep ourselves from standing for something.

More about me: I'm just a family guy. I've come to realize we - each of us can make a difference to another person simply by acknowledging them. Give them credit for being, give them space, give them freedom, give them love. Let them be who they are. One thing you have noticed already - in urban NJ, it is very difficult to be acknowledged as a person who counts as being alive -- we are just so many moving automobiles on the highways! (I'm Rt. 80 and Rt. 15, myself!) The depersonalization disenfranchises us, angers us, isolates us -- hence the tendency to stereotype and label that is reinforced by our media.

There's a huge craving among all people for connection with others - love and peace. Please check out my website (acknowledgeu.com), which started as a small local project, but grew more than I expected it would.

With all that is going on in the world today, the time is right to make all of our movements grow. I am taking my small project and also making it global...simple acts of acknowledging others is another way to make a difference. One act of acknowledgment transform two people. I also have a group on Facebook where I want to achieve one million members ("1 Million Making a Difference by Acknowledging Others"). Please check it out . I'd be honored if you would join and help to spread the word. I want to connect with other similar minded groups (I've already connected with Pay It Forward Foundation and BlueRibbons.org (Difference Makers Int'l)) to create a huge event when I get to 1 million members. I have some thoughts and just need to create something tangible.
