I spent 3 years traveling around the world in the early 70's, escaping the USA and it's tragic war in Vietnam. I learned about many cultures and enjoyed meeting wonderful people of many nations. I met and married a Canadian and have lived in Toronto Canada for the past 32 years. I raised 3 children in this wonderful land and am blessed to live in a peaceful land.

Welcome, Jill-
I didn't escape to canada; too much music going on for me back then...- I definitely would have if necessary, though! (I got a high number....).
It's sure hard not to be cynical the way things came "full circle only worse! But now there's at least a straw of hope to grasp at... Snd groups like this help to get me thinking more positively.
Take Care; DaveS.

Hi Jill,
Yes, you are lucky to have escaped the States. It's a pity what a mess our government has made of things here. The potential was great for America, but the military industrial complex and the corporate greed killed this great country. I wonder if it is even salvageable at this point. I have to have some hope.
Hope you enjoy this video of me playing "Camelot" a song on my Peace Revolution! CD.
love and peace always and everywhere,
Louis
