More: All peoples seem to be so shielded from the diversity of the world that they (we) fear the "Other," the people who are not like "us."

More about me: Retired clergy and college professor (philosophy and world religions). Active on many social-political issues, but especially Palestine-Israel. Do a lot of photography and videography.

At 1:17am on February 24, 2009, Grete Soleng said…: Our 2 doctors got a lot of invitations from different countries when they came home,so they are travelling around to different countries to tell the truth about the war. I think they were in Saudi Arabia last week and they are also going to US where they will try to get a meeting with the Obama administration.
Since Israel didn`t allow reporters to enter Gaza during the war,Mats and Erik reported almosr every day to tv-stations all over the world and of cource to Norway too. They are wonderful persons.

I think that inner beauty is the most important thing, but compliments brighten the day as well when you are as old as I am, lol. And I thank you for your friendship. I look forward to sharing with all my wonderful new friends here in this awesome lovefilled and informative site. There is so much I do not understand about what is going on in the world and why all the strife and hate. I think this site will be very illumating. By learning about people and their backgrounds, ideologies, life conditions and ethnic beliefs I can find out how I may, in some meaningful way, promote peace and understanding. Peace cannot be obtained without understanding each other and respecting each other, so I figured for me this site is a good place to start. Have and wonderful week my friend. I feel we will probably have discussions soon about philosophy, a passion of mine.
