When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

More: I believe that there are many factors preventing peace in this world. I strongly agree with Jimi Hendrix when he said "when the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace"- that sums it up better than I ever could. Life isn't about what you have or don't have, its about what you do with what you have. Once a person is at peace with who they are and what they have..they can spread peace on to others. It has to do with how children are parented- if a child is raised by parents who hate, more than likely the child will hate- thats all they've ever known. It is a cycle that starts at birth that needs to be broken. Its an all over acceptance of others- accepting their failures along with their successes. I won't even get into the religious or political side of it!

More about me: I'm just one person...who wants to make a difference in the world. Not sure how I can do it, but definitely trying to figure it out. I'm tired of being the one sitting back complaining saying, "someone should do something about this mess", when I myself am doing nothing to fix the problems.
