When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Other

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Other

More: I basing my opinion with regard to North America. I feel it’s a combination of fear, hatred and prejudices that is now blocking what we need to do to get to where we should be. Greed is fuelling the fires today whereas it was once a matter of over coming poverty and becoming educated. Prejudices held a lot of people back whether it was of ethnic or socioeconomics, the fear that comes from not understanding turns to hatred when you don’t know where to get the answers.

I feel we are definitely in a battle with something. We need to get back to some basic values that provide a good life for people and help to create strong healthy adults so that we can go into the world and battle the social ills that keep our other family members down.

I do think globally, however, If given the chance to share my ideas, help a cause, take a stand or sign a petition it’s usually for the needs of the children and families here in North America.

Even if we have several obvious differences, add me as a friend... teach me, tell me and talk to me about what you want me to learn.

ANy and all information is welcome. If you have a question about me or the causes I am close to just ask. It's a relief to be somewhere that I won't be seen as "too intense."
