When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Violence, Human Rights
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Greed
More
So many people have been trained that they have to look out for themselves - physically, emotionally, and financially. If we could just realize that we are fine and look to help others, there would be much less violence, poverty, and strife.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I am an ordained minister-deacon in the Order of Christ-Sophia and am dedicated to cultivating peace within myself and my relationships, and to praying and working for peace throughout the world.
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes

Hi, Lucy!

I just wrote to Rev. Margaret ...

Thought you might want to know about this:

My Center for Peacemaking at Marquette University (which is part of the "consortium" that supports NV Conflict Resolution in MPS) is presenting a panel of experts on NV conflict resolution for K-12 students. The program was supported last year by a $21,000 grant from Lee Thomas of Louisville. Then, this year we received a $100,000 grant from the Brighter Futures Initiative to expand our program in the MPS.

As part of this program we have put together a 3-person panel presentation. All three panelists have both academic expertise and extensive practical experience in nonviolent conflict resolution.

The panel will be on Thursday, February 26th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 in the Alumni Memorial Union, Room 227.

We thought it would be great if you could come to this event and pass it along to everyone you know, including students and faculty.

And ... it'd be a great opportunity for us to meet face-to-face.

So ... hope to see you AND your friends there!

Simon, S. J.

Hello from the UAE,
Please consider joining my group "Many Faiths - One Goal." We are in need of your input. I hope that this group will foster understanding and cooperation between people of all faiths. I believe that religion is a solution, not a problem. Have a beautiful, peaceful day.

True world peace : When and How?
In today's world Vices flourish
and Virtues languish

God's role is destruction of the old world order and creation of the new one simultaneously.

we have changed the definitions like:
SCHOOL:A place where papa pays and son plays.
TEARS:The hydraulic force by which masculine will power is defeated by feminine waterpower.
CONFERENCE:The confusion of one man multiplied by the number present.
DICTIONARY:A place where success comes before work.
FATHER:A banker provided by nature.
DOCTOR:A person who kills your ills by pills , and kills you by bills.
CLASSIC:Books , which people praise , but do not read.
OFFICE:A place where you can relax after your strenuous home life.
Etc.:A sign to make others believe that you know more than you actually do.
COMMITTEE:Individuals who can do nothing individually and sit to decide that nothing can be done together .
EXPERIENCE:The name men give to their mistakes.
ATOM BOMB:An invention to end all inventions.

In such a world where everything has lost its original meaning is corrected by GOD once in a cycle which ancient indian mythology says as KALPA . one kalpa is the time equal to 5000 years .

Bible says there was heaven on earth three thousand years before CHRIST.
Since CHRIST was two thousand years before from now .
Therefore there was heaven on earth five thousand years before from now.
This is called GOLDEN AGE OR HEAVEN OR (SONE KI CHIRIA) SPARROW OF GOLD

WE TOGETHER WILL CERTAINILY CONVERT THIS WORLD INTO HEAVEN WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE
