When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Poverty, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
So what is it?
Need to spread love, love, love.................
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Hatred
More
....
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I am an art lover. I love art in every form. Photography is my passion ,music gives me pleasure, love interior designing, tribal art fascinates me, reading and writing relaxes me. I also love poetry which helps me to indulge myself in thoughts transcending into a world of familiarity where I can find my expression of joy, sorrow, love and freedom.
Presently trying to compile a book on Indian Contemporary Art.

Your country sounds a lot like mine in a way. We here in Canada respect each others religions, dialects, ways and beliefs. We also have many cultures of people here as wall. Our 2 main languages are English and French. Canada is also a beautiful country. You are right! Beauty does lie in unity and diversity among other things. Our country never had a civil war in our history. We did have many wars (wars between the French and English armies) during the development of our country many years before our country was named Canada (300 years ago).
Thak you for the encouragemet. I am also a lover of art, ad music. This weeked I will play a litttle music ad will play my flute with a woman singing the Gayatri Mantra...I agree spreadig love is the answer and understanding. I will be interested to see you work o cotemporary Indian Art. Which in my opnion is one of the most fasciating. So much to be expressed from India with such a creative ad spiritual background. I studied modern art in University years ago, wish I could continue and do a masters one day, but alas i am far from such academics...live an love life,,,,,,cheers
You are very welcome. How are you doing? How is your country doing? I have learned that Delhi has a bad past for civil wars and things like that. Is that true?
Sorry to ask you so many questions in the beginning like this! It's just that I have never met anybody from your country before.
We who have cans at the end
can erupt in rendition of an anthem,
to heal our planet
by saving the delicate net
that connects our continents
So we Africans
can join minds with Latin Americans
and share fellowship with Asians
Jamaicans
Puto-Ricans
Dominicans
Coastaricans
and even Ithacans
who care and are concerned.
They say we do count
when it matters most
but when April arrives, the tax-people
expect our returns
yet they say we not count.
When ballot boxes swallow
our cards and return zeros in our stead
They say we do not count
but mothers of Warriors count
the numbers of days dear ones
are away from home
They say we do not count?
We count the needless journeys
to DC only to return deceived
with platitudes received from
sugar-coated agents of state
Do they say we do not count?
we who are numbers at boarder posts
we never slumber but slip in
a thought or two for their Daily Post
They can't say we do not count
because we count days of hunger
we are still counting those dazed by Katrina.
We won't stop counting body bags
arriving by night,
and nights arriving by noon in homes
where breadwinners are now weaned off bottles like babies.
They say we do not COUNT?
