More
I believe fear and ideology is the basis of most violence in our world. Lack of tolerance and understanding of one another brings about an ignorance of the unknown - which begets fear. People react because of fear and defensive of their ideologies.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I am a mother of four, have always been politically active and own and operate, with my partner, a Fair Trade retail store. I am a compassionate and quiet person who feels that all of us have a responsibility to ourselves and our global community to help promote peace in the world through developing mutual trust, love, respect and kindness.
The first step in this process is to find inner peace. This inner peace can then cultivate an attitude of calm and compassion. This state of mind will generate harmony and understanding in our diverse world. All beings want happiness. This basic need can be the foundation to work from - not fear.

thanks for the comment. Peace is an illusive dream, that each and every individual has. I live in the Southern Part of the Philippines where war is always around. As of now thousands of families are displaced due to the ongoing offensive made by the government against "renegades" rebels.
Offensive by the military is the answer seen by the government against the perpetrators, but the people affected by it got a question: Is war an answer to peace?
I dont believe so.
Peace, when will it come, remain a question for the many.
