Of mind

Science has peaked almost every phenomenon of our life with its empirical approach, questioning all aspects of human life and physical world. But one thing which science failed to portray a clear picture is the question of mind. It simply took refuge to what is called “brain” as the mind. Christians pointed an immaterial substance called “soul” as the mind. But apart from these two streams of thoughts, Buddhism holds mind as neither of them but a continuous existence of an immaterial…

Intuition

Early this morning, silently,
I slipped by the window to your room,
walking my tip toes
passing the curtains where you are hiding
so often from me

I hear your heart beat so clearly,
much louder than thoughts of science or worry
I giggle inside, while I am pulling your nose
Waking you up to another real day.

I whisper into your sweet sleepy ear:
“You are mine ”

So You look at the mirror surprised, feeling
Like you’d just fell in love during last night,
not knowing why would you feel like that,
not knowing whom you love, but I do.

I never give up …
but you’re not sure to approve of me, gee!

As if you really could ever get rid of me.
Looking funny in this new pajamas from your mom,
I am glad that you wear…
I adore this wild hair-style around your face.
My goodness, how much I love you just now.

I am none without you, so I better stay on-line,
do you still believe in Tomorrow?
Wake up my dear,
it’s only your yes, that we need here.

I’ve been waiting at the door of eternity,
I could easily grow very old here, if I didn’t know
no door, no Me …even Love goes on holiday
When you know your inner voice…

Cheers

I've been thinking for a few years I might go to Darjeeling to learn the Tibetan language in a school there, and then who knows ~ there might be something that evolves from that for me to do in a helpful way; maybe teaching refugee children English...
