Over the ages true wise men and women rarely sat upon a thrones and looked down upon the masses. They were free-thinkers, visionaries who followed no indoctrination and often lived simply with little more than rags for clothes. They walked among the people on the street and in the gutter, their hands and hearts reached out to touch, comfort and love humanity,…

Dear Friends, I would love to hear about the last time you experienced unbridled joy. When was the last time you did something you enjoyed SO MUCH that you completely forgot yourself and became the moment? Is it something you do often? If not, why? I believe the more true joy we can experience the more peaceful human beings we become. I think…

In the Comfort of Trees: A tribute to all trees. The song on this slide show is titled "The Trees" and is music I recently dreamed. In the dream I stood amongst towering trees that swayed with the music. They looked down at me with love so intense I wept. Shortly after I woke and recorded the song. This is the very first recording, mistakes and all. So I use this recording…

I am deeply honored to be your friend. May you be blessed with abundant life full of bliss. Keep on smiling. I like your smile. It is healthy.
Here are two wise Native grandmothers that I love dearly.
May we all come together as One to create solutions and take concrete actions to bring Peace to the world.
Peace Spirit on Earth prevails. Blessings.

Thank you Robin for your kind comments, This pow wow video was the first one I made, so the technical quality could be improved. It is only one five minutes song out of a few hours of footage. I tried to put the best colorful images from different dances on that one song. To tell the truth it was no more than a first test in video editing. The place was the Odawa Pow wow near Ottawa, the biggest one in Canada, in last june. The group we see on the drum is called the Poplars singers and I should have written it in the generics. There was at least eight such groups there.
You can see some of my other films on Native wisdom in live stream at this link: http://www.isuma.tv/?site/channelHome/channelid/262 and you can dowload them from my website @ www.ironwoodlog.net but I've been having a hard time with my webmaster and with my server as well, so things have been happening much slower than desired. I'll put nine more films online this week on isuma.tv, interviews and conferences of elders.
About the iPeace video as I called it, I basically helped my friend Serge Da Silva (Papillon) to put it together on Valentine's day. The next day it was on iPeace homepage, making us feel pretty cheerful. But we did that in one night without too much care. Then one of the musicians complained that his name was not in the generics, So Serge remade the video without me and erased the original version from the homepage. It is still on my page as you can see but the new version belongs to him and can be seen on his own page.
I hope this answers your questions. Best blessings of Peace and Love

I wish I could make it there as well as to the Gathering of Nations in New Mexico around that same time, the largest pow wow on Earth, but there is not much probabilities for the moment. A part of my soul lies in those deserts.
I've learnt a great deal from the wisdom of the Hopis, more than I can express.
Lolamai, Hopi katsi et tuwa eyesni = Blessings, May Peace prevail on Earth
Welcome with 'Taj' from India,
