When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I am a born activist
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Hatred
More
As a race, we have forgotten that our true nature is love. Love heals everything. Hatred destroys. I also feel an element of hatred is a lack of charity - really seeing and loving others. Loving others reminds us how much we are loved. WIth love, anything is possible. No obstacle is too big. I know as more of us choose love and take responsibility to heal our own hatred, peace is possible
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I am a vowed sister with the Center of Light, a Christian mystical Order with centers nationwide. From when I was young, I cared a lot about what was happening in the world. It worried me that I didn't see things going well. As I've been on a spiritual path, I've realized that it's through healing my self, my own self-hatred and anger, that I can contribute to peace. People change when they're loved. I did. I strive to love others with the same love that my spiritual Teachers have had for me. And I have a burning feeling inside, a knowing, that anything one puts their mind to, they can do. There is no limit, especially with the power of God and love inside.
