When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Education, Violence, Human Rights
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
The idea that people can get what they want through the oppression of others or through violence is, in my opinion the the biggest "External" obstacle and the media has its role as well - blow something up, you will definitely get PR, Hurt someone, make the news. Sad but the media perpetuates and sometimes even inspires more violence and the antagonists of peace.
But these are all external factors, and the fact is, they DO EXIST, the real obstacle is in our own mind, it is the peace we cultivate within ourselves, the actions we take (or don't) to make a difference. it is our own views that affect others around us, so the responsibility once again falls to us
Can we change the world?
More about me
I am a person who wants to continue to make a difference, even if its one person at a time. I dare not call myself an activist, i do not deserve the title, there is so much more I can do and I know it, but for now I currently do benefit talks around Asia for youth or children related charities. If you have a program, I will gladly give my time for a cause. You can find out more about me on Google.

you've been too modest when say you are not an activist - you are definitely are. if you concentrate on peace - and have the same success as with the other things you do, then we are very lucky.-:)
have a nice weekend
Nice to meet you! The work you are doing sound great. I believe that doing what we can, even one person at a time is why we are here. Thank you for being a light source for many! Unity of spirit, Robert
