Patience

WE have need of patience with ourselves and with others; with those below, and those above us, and with our own equals; with those who love us and hose who love us not; for the greatest things and for the least; against sudden inroads of trouble, and under daily burdens; disappointments as to the weather, or the breaking of the heart; in the weariness of the body, or the wearing of the sol; in our own failure of duty, or others' failure toward us; in every-day wants, or in the aching of… Continue

The Quadrophenia of Life

The Quadrophenia of Life

By Des and Leah.

As people, we are role-players. We play the wife, the husband, the entrepreneur, the artist, the scientist, the angry person, the jealous person, the happy person, the breadwinner, the teacher, the tailor, the soldier, the sailor, and a whole plethora of other roles that separate us from who we truly are. There is no true relationship… Continue

Water and the Moon

There is a path from me to you
That I am constantly looking for,

so I try to keep clear and still
as water does with the moon.

Hope!

Love is not finding words

To compose a poem

Because love is a song

Singing softly in the heart

It is dream and get hold

Another dimension

El amor no es encontrar las palabras

THE DAY IS DONE

THE DAY IS DONE, and the darkness

Falls from the wings of Night,

As a feather is wafted downward

From an eagle in his flight.

I see the lights of the village

Gleam through the rain and the mist:

And a feeling of sadness comes o'er me,

That my soul cannot resist:

A feeling of sadness and longing,

That is not akin to pain,

And resembles sorrow only

As the mist resembles the rain.

Come read to me some poem

Some… Continue

When will they ever learn

Where have all the young girls gone,

Long time passing,

Where have all the young girls gone,

Long time…
