PASSIVE PACIFISTS

Some of us are pacifists. Not only that, some of us are passive pacifists -- leading us to resist the very idea of taking initiative, even toward peace. (I include myself in this group).

I know my passivism stems from things that happened in my childhood -- I was often disbelieved, because I made outrageously intelligent comments for one so young, and if not so much accused of lying, well, that is how it felt.

I heard on the radio this morning that the rights for the music and lyrics of Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein are being offered for sale. (They wrote South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, and many, many other famous and beautiful musical works for the stage, during the 1940's and 1950's).

happy about iPeace

So happy to have a social network for peace. It's great to meet so many people from all over the world who want peace. I believe that once the number of people who want peace reaches a tipping point, the energy and the intention will be so strong, the warmongers won't be able to exert their control over us any longer and we will have a peaceful world at last.

Sept. 3rd is Internation day of Peace from the UN

since we're coming into many holy days from all paths of the world.

We should take the time to meditate and send our healing love to end the wars, proverty, and how humans are treated.
