As Chari of the Cambridge University Stident Union's LBGT Campaign, I'm so proud how this events we have been planning since October!



Saturday 30th January

- Radio chat show with Marcus and Katie, 14:00-16:00.

Venue: CUR1350

To launch CUSU LBGT's Awareness Week, join Katie & Marcus live on air for the LBGT Radio Show.

Music, interviews, LBGT events guide, advice and a phone in add up to a great Saturday afternoon.

PLUS we'll be arranging a Blind Date live on air. So if you're looking for love for Valentine's Day (and an all-expenses-paid date courtesy of CUSU LBGT), email mb693@cam.ac.uk for more details!

- LAUNCH EVENT - Being LBGT in the workplace, 19:30-21:30.

Featuring speakers from the Church of England, Google, UK Parliament and the Mitre House Chambers.

Sunday 31st January

- Speed dating

18:30 for girls
20:30 for boys

Venue: Knox Shaw Room, Sidney Sussex College.

However, all are welcome for both events. The above labels are simply guidelines, and both events welcome people of all sexualities and genders, and none.

Monday 1st February

- LBGT History Launch Event, 12:30-16:00.

Venue: Guild Hall, Peas Hill.

- Interfaith meeting for worship, 19:30-21:00.

Venue: St Edwards Church, Peas Hill.

Tuesday 2nd February

- Pre-Rendezvous Drinks Event sponsored by Allen & Overy LLP, 20:00-22:00.

Venue: Slug & Lettuce.

As part of CUSU LBGT Awareness Week, there will be a fantastic drinks event at the Slug & Lettuce pub, kindly sponsored by Allen & Overy LLP.

This is your chance to come along with friends or meet new people in a relaxed environment with FREE drinks. For those of you coming along to the Rendezvous club-night that evening, why not stop by first? Great venue and even better company guaranteed!

Venue: Revolution Vodka Bar, Downing Street.

Your normal Rendezvous LBGT Club-Night, but with trained 'Sexperts' present aiming to raise awareness of sexual health issues.

Wednesday 3rd February

- Cambridge LGBT History Month Lecture, 17:30-19:30.

- Louise Carolin Speaker Event, Diva deputy editor, 20:30.

Venue: Chertwynd Room, King's College.

Thursday 4th February

- "Talk and discussion on trans issues in the UK," Sarah Brown, 20.00.

Venue: TBC.

- The Red in the Rainbow: Socialists and the struggle for LGBT Rights, 20:00.

Venue: Munby Room, King's College.

Socialist Worker Public Meeting & pamphlet launch.

- Grrrl Party, 22:00-03:00.

Venue: The Kambar, Wheeler Street.

Grrrl Party is back again, and as before, there shall be amazing tunes from grrrls with guitars and grrrls with synths and grrrls with shouty voices and feministy politics to keep you dancing all nite long! DJ Neon Jeepster of POPSTARZ in London will also be back again with a guest slot. Grrrl Party is queer- and women-friendly; people of all genders and sexualities are all completely welcome as long as they are respectful of this!

Venue: Sidgwick Hall, Newnham College.

Monday 8th February

- CUSU LBGT AGM and elections, 20:00.

Venue: Knox Shaw room, Sidney Sussex College.
