FUT 16 Gameplay

I hate how completely inconsistent the gameplay can be... stuff like TOTS Boateng bullying TOTS Costa for an entire match, then getting rag-dolled around the pitch by Sturridge and Vargas the next game. Or both teams having the same keeper with the same chem style (Courtois + glove usually) one will make 10+ saves, the other will let in the only 2 shots on target he faces. Players not making runs, forwards going from clinical to comical, etc, etc...

One of the things that winds me up the most though, is the random (usually stupid) positioning of defenders from corners. It's like playing "Where's Wally/Waldo" trying to locate, switch to and reposition your CBs every time. I've lost track of the amount of soft headed goals I've conceded because both my CBs are standing uselessly on the edge of the area whilst Lahm, Cazorla, INSERT SHORTEST PLAYER ON YOUR TEAM, are standing at the near post "marking" my opponent's forward or 6ft+ defender.

yeah that's the kind of stuff that makes it incredibly hard to not believe in "the handicap" i was just talking about things like this yesterday that someone was arguing was all "in my head"... i'll have games where my legends, TOTY cards actually feel and play the way they are rated, for example Tony Kroos making the most perfect passes in weight and accuracy, fast forward a game or two and he's playing like he's never kicked a ball a day in his life, weak pathetic passes... or passes that are solid but the receiving player let's it run by them like it's a bomb and they don't want anything to do with it.

also on corners.. that just reminded me... something i'd like to see... something that annoys me is when on a corner kick if i kick it anywhere in the 6 or on the edge, no matter who my player is, this tourny for example, Naldo one tall defender, jumps to head it, clearly is in front of and out jumps the GK, and the keeper comes up with Fifa 16 coins xbox one... just every once and a while i'd love to see an attacker actually realistically win a header off a corner when the attacker legitimately should have won the header

but that's just the realism in me... i know others would disagree because then i'm sure it'll be something that's exploited...
