The Time Is Now!

I think I have finally figured out what I was put on this planet for. I think it is time to start an environmental revolution! Everyone that reads this should give it some serious thought. The way that we live our lives is killing the earth, and along with that, killing ourselves and the other animals that live here. Humans were not put on this Earth to earn profits, we are here as caretakers of this beautiful place. Why are so many people apposing to being environmentally friendly? Some Republican politicians are trying to turn this into a political issue! WAKE UP PEOPLE! This is not at all about politics! This is strictly a humanitarian issue. We need to learn and educate ourselves on the damage that we may not even realize we are doing, and take that new knowledge and actually make changes in our daily lives! This is the time to make a change. Some are saying that what we do now won't really matter because we won't see the effects, whether they be good or bad. But people, why would we want to make things worse? Even if we may never see the effects of the damage that we are doing, why would we want to leave this Earth knowing we left it in shambles for the next generation. Scientists are coming out saying that we will most likely see the damage that we are doing, and that things could get serious fast! I don't see how anyone can turn away from FACTS just to try to make their lives more conveinient! Every person does not need a car, we don't need to use plastic bags at grocery stores, we don't need huge houses that waste timber, we don't need to leave all the lights on in our homes when we leave. What we need to do is figure out how to educate people on how they can become environmentally friendly. That is why I am writing this. This is the first step I am taking to try to create a non-profit organization that travels the world to educate all people of all backgrounds, social class, race, sex, etc., and educate them on how we are damaging our earth and how we can make changes to stop the damage that we have done. If anyone out there reads this that agrees, knows how to go about starting a non-profit, and wants to join me in this battle then please respond to this! Every single person contributes to the damage and we need to learn how to put an end to this! The time is now!
