"If you don’t love yourself, you cannot love others. You will not be able to love others. If you have no compassion for yourself then you are not able of developing compassion for others."
~Dalai Lama
“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. “

Hello Kit, I saw your lovely words on Kelly's page, he asked me about my writings, and I was replying, and there was your message:-
"Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born." ~ Anais Nin
Thank you for expanding my circle of friends, you truly honor me with the gift of your friendship! May you continually be blessed as the Universe unfolds before you! Kytka "Kit" Hilmar-Jezek http://kytka.wordpress.com
So I wanted to write to you for two reasons; first is your name, my mother was also Kit, the only other one I know, she died ten years ago aged 83 after a life with much love and much pain, and always held me in a spiritual place, talking of the unknown, the unanswerable, all my life. She was born an Irish "Kathleen" but always called Kit.
The second reason is your words of Anais Nin; these connect so clearly with recent visions for me, in Jerusalem this Easter and before, seeing the threads of soul essence dreamed by God before creation, flowing throughout all time, learning about love, and eventually becoming love, and so back to God again. I was taught to create a holy space and invite other soul threads to join me there, and share the essence of our being, the complete learning of all time, reaching back to before the beginning, and forward to the ending of our time. These soul threads represent the learning of love, and radiate love into the universe, and when two or more threads are drawn together in friendship, we create a place which is holy, and shine with a new and greater light, and the one that we are then is different from the separate ones we were before.
I hope you didn't mind me writing uninvited, and I wish you and your loved ones joy for Christmas and for 2009 and many years to come, with love from Bill
