@ Christopher; point well taken! I noticed two typos I committed (here are the corrections); this by far the worst: ...as *these* chinese... meaning the individual souls abusing those tibetans, and of course the far more benign error was ...man *has* freedom...
As to your point, thank you Christopher; my first reaction was to universalize - then to understand that by no means can all chinese be thrown into the same lot as those shown on the video, then to contemplate that there is evil and suffering driving the actions of unenlightened individuals (some who affect others in their experience), and finally to realize we all have the same capacity (the species) to choose to attain enlightenment and choose not to torment and harm others. om mani padme hum. Peace and loving kindness to you all.

@Mike & nyima : we agree on freedom and respect for human rights, but I think we must be careful to not put all the Chinese people in the same bag...

until all of man as freedom, no man is free. This makes me ashamed to be of the same species as the chinese. Liars, pirates, tyrants, cowards. they should all live a thousand lifes of servitude.

That is terrible. What a sad and sick World we live in. I can only keep my hopes and dreams alive that one day all this mindless violence will stop. :'-(
