I grew up with prejudice!

Since I grew up in a time when it was ok for people to harrass and ridicule the others of different color or status,I have learned how to be more then compassionate to the others who have been in the situation that I have been in!
I chose not to pass this on to my own children and have allowed them to decide who they want to be around!I DID NOT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM THEM!!
HUMANITY is what this and other countries lack,
for one another(This includes their own people)and for all of the other inhabitants of this world!
The prejudice is not against each other,but to all the inhabitants of the world!
I know what it's like to be ridiculed
I know what it's like to feel the shame that people have made me feel for being me!
We all say that "I never asked to be born into this!"but yet still many chose to continue to the prejudism!
This is what causes the continued hate towards our country as well,we complain about who was here first and all the other things that hinder the process of becoming a better people!
Yet all the while we look very little at the children we have so much influence over and never seem to think about the teachings we are showing them!
MY QUESTION HAS BEEN!!
"What will you teach your children?"Because what you teach your children,you also teach mine as well and I refuse to allow someone to have more influence on them then me!
GANGS EXIST because we have allowed someone else to tell us how to be parents and put restrictions on our parenting!I remember when I was a child,I felt the disciplinary hand on my back side plenty of times,and learned my lessons well!Then someone called it abuse,for some it may have been,but we had our rights as parents taken and the children LOST respect for the elders!
Some of the children who were abused never had/have someone telling them that they should STOP!!
Today there are many children who are in places where they just MEDICATE them to control them!
UUUUMMMMM,OK!!
I NEVER NEEDED MEDICATION TO DEAL WITH MY PROBLEMS AS A CHILD OR AS AN ADULT!!!Only my parents,even though they had problems of their own,they still chose to teach us the rights from wrongs!THEY CHOSE NOT TO BE PREDJUDICE to anyone of color,and made sure we never continued it as well!!
WHAT YOU TEACH YOUR CHILD(REN),PASSES ON TO THE NEXT GENERATION!!
I chose to continue letting go of hate to all LIVING THINGS!
This is not our world to decide who lives and who dies,this is what was given to us to share and takecare of!
STOP THE HATE FOR YOUR CHILDRENS SAKE!
We live in fear now,they should NOT!
