mataa krupaa saagaree
Sarvaananda karee sadaa shiva karee
vishveshwaree shree dharee
Dakshaa kranda karee niraamaya karee

I worship mother Annapoorna, to grant me the alms of her mercy.She offers her grace and protection to the defeated and down-trodden,she is the great refuge, she is an ocean of compassion, she bestows bliss on every one, she is the eternal giver of wealth and happiness, she is the consort of Vishweswara(shiva), the bejewelled one, she dispels terrible diseases, she is the ruling deity of Kasi.

Mother Annapoorna, she is infinite, she is the beloved of Sankara, may we worship her to grant us the alms of eternal knowledge and detachment from sense objects.

Baandhavaaha Shiva Bhaltaas Cha Swadeso Bhuvana Trayam....................12
Goddess Parvati is our eternal mother, Lord Maheswara is our eternal father.All the devotees of Shiva are our relatives; all the three worlds are our motherland (We should perceive in that manner)
