I have never known Peace

I grew up never knowing what Peace was,only stories of it!

I knew of all the horrors that came with Wars!

And still I have never known real Peace!

I look around and see what this has done to many!

And often wondered what it would be like to see real Peace!

The only place I find it is when my children are babies and don't know conflict!

And then they grow into adults and I shutter knowing that they too will know Wars!

I have never known Peace

But I have known many things

Watched the destructions of many things

And still I have never seen true Peace

Now I wonder if my children will ever see it and know it!

If Peace is every step the why isn't anyone walking

If Peace is in the heart,who heart is it in!?





I look for Peace almost everyday and now I wonder if the war in Iraq will come home with many of those who serve in the military!This is something we should all start thinking about and start planning for,it will not be up to the government to show the Vets of this conflict how to re-adjust to the society we live in now!

You cannot tell me that they will not be affected by it,both mentally and physically!What will the government do about this and how will they treat them!?I have family who serve and have served,they are not treated they way you'd think they would have been for their service!

When I look for Peace,I look to others to help find it so we can begin on the road to it,this is not a one man journey but it is a one world journey we all must take and work towards.


I GREW UP NEVER KNOWING WHAT PEACE WAS!!

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO GROW UP NOT KNOWING THIS!!

WORK TOWARDS A BETTER FUTURE!

YOUR FUTURE AND MINE!!

WHEN YOU LOOK AT YOUR CHILDREN,YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE FUTURE!!

It doesn't take a scientist to figure this out nor a psychic!

Just good ol..common sense!
