JACOB'S LADDER

IT is indeed a sparkling truth , that diamonds are forever,
The taste of is on my lips,and God has left me never,
I tried to do it my way ...I never did succeed,
the drama I created , just made my poor heart bleed,
constantly I climbed back up the ladder or the rope ,
hanging onto something by a tread that they called hope ,
hope for what I asked myself?
just what was it I wanted,?
'IT' was such a tiny thing ...such power you'd ne'r believe ,
and ego was the only thing, that ever did decieve,
I have been here lifetimes , flashes come in view,
Ego isnot who I AM ,DIVINITY is true ,
So I followed Jacob ....and I climbed the seven ,
AND WHEN I TOOK THAT FINAL LEAP,
I knew I was in HEAVEN .
