Ready to Relocate, Seeking Trade: Workshops for Room and Board

Having finished a cycle of writing projects as part of building The Interfaith Peacebuilding and Community Revitalization (IPCR) Initiative, and having also created a website for my “Collected Writings”—this writer feels he has sufficient resources to trade with, and is seeking to re-locate to any place where there are people who can make good use of the resources he has to offer.

Recommended resources include:

1)  “A Four Page Summary of The IPCR Initiative”  (see “IPCR Outreach 2011” section of IPCR homepage)

2)  IPCR Journal/Newsletter (Winter 2010-2011 issue)  (58 pages)

3)  “Recalibrating Our Moral Compasses” paper  (26 pages) (includes much relating to this writer’s assessment of challenges ahead)

4)  “1000Communities2” proposal  (161 pages)-- explores many of the steps necessary to actualize comprehensive and time-intensive Community Visioning Initiatives

6)  “The IPCR Workshop Primer”  (425 pages) covers the whole spectrum of IPCR resources—including some which may seem very esoteric, but may in fact be critical to creating hope and momentum for “problem solving on a scale most of us have never known before”

7)  “Brief Descriptions of The Eight IPCR Concepts” (25 pages) (ideas for workshops which can create “constellations” of initiatives)

8)  the “Workshops” section of The IPCR Initiative website (at http://www.ipcri.net/Workshops.html )

Note:  All documents at The IPCR Initiative website (at www.ipcri.net ) and all documents at the “Collected Writings of Stefan Pasti” website (at www.writingsofstefanpasti.net ) are accessible for free, and readers of this message are encouraged to make use of the resources in any way they feel will be helpful to their community, others who might benefit from the resources, and themselves.  (This writer has also created a website for a “Special Moments of Inspiration and Insight” Book Project at www.specialmomentsbook.net )

The IPCR Journal/Newsletter (Winter 2010-2011 issue; 58 pages) includes:

a)  an 11 page introduction to The IPCR Initiative (“Creating a Multiplier Effect of a Positive Nature”)

b)  a 15 step outline for Community Visioning Initiatives

c)  8 sample questions for a preliminary survey

d)  a list of 117 related fields of activity

e)  an introduction to the concept “Peace Returned on Resources Invested”

f)   a 9 page section titled “A Call to Women’s Organizations Associated with Peacebuilding and Philanthropy”

g)  a section describing opportunities for local newspapers to contribute valuable community service

—and thus contains enough detail associated with the IPCR Initiative peacebuilding approach to be a valuable starting point for brainstorming sessions, exploratory meetings, and workshops associated with planning and implementing a Community Visioning Initiative.

There is also a recently created flyer offering the resources at www.ipcri.net and www.writingsofstefanpasti.net for free, which offers a quick reference description of the IPCR Initiative peacebuilding approach.  That flyer—and this notice—are made accessible (for free) at the “Collected Writings of Stefan Pasti” website (see section “2010-“), and can provide introductory information for a bulletin board.  One approach which may help the process of re-location for this writer (and for many others) is a trade:  workshops for room and board.  Here’s how that might work:  in the beginning, this writer can offer workshops with all of the proceeds going to a community of people who are providing him with room and board.  [Any other additional expenses (personal or otherwise) would come out of his own pocket].  By this kind of mutual support, workshops could become an established source of income for this writer (and others with key services and resources), and the community of people doing this kind of sponsorship can increase solution-oriented momentum in their community.

I encourage anyone who has questions or is interested in more information to contact me, either by email (stefanpasti@ipcri.net ) or by phone (703) 209-2093.

With Kind Regards and Best Wishes,

Stefan Pasti, Founder and Outreach Coordinator

The IPCR Initiative
