The online content piracy has paved the way towards the shutting of various theatres and the recording companies. The latest on the hit list is the Star Theatres, whose owner RS Gold says it is the end of the business. The decision has been taken considering the online content piracy, which has become havoc and has made it extremely difficult for the theatre owner to enjoy the profits he intend for.
Glenn Stencell opened the Star theatres in 2000, when there were no movie theatres in the town. Nevertheless, the owner of the Star theatres had to shut down the business because of the digital piracy being on a high these days. Stencell added that the authorities are asking for the electronic projectors, and the support for the old projectors would be no longer available. It is simply unfair to do so as the Star theatres are a major source of entertainment in Leamington. Stencell further added that the decision is not taken out of any emotions, but there has been a thorough thought process behind that.
The idea of having the electronic projectors is not cost-effective. Before going into the details, it is worth mentioning that the Star theatres have been the number one choice of people for several years now. As far the upgrade is concerned, it would cost $300,000 initially, then the additional $65,000 would be required for each upgrade. The finances are something the Star theatres cannot afford to incur, added by Stencell more information at link: http://www.rsgpfast.com/
