DEATH IS INEXORABLE! WHY YOU SHOULD PREPARE YOURSELLF

Many feel bad when you tell them about death, but have we come to realize that death is inexorable? Benjamin Franklin once said: “In this world nothing is so sure, except taxes and death” I hope you now know that death is a very sure thing to happen.

As for me, am not scared by the finality of death, am scared by the idea of dying. Once you are dead- you are dead. The procedure of dying or thinking about death can be very scary sometimes; maybe that is why some people actually reject making their own funeral arrangement.

Take a moment and think about your family. How often do they handle grief and stress? Will they be well-resourced to make smart decisions while dealing with the shock of your death? Beyond pets, have they dealt with a death in your family and what really happened? These are the things you have to think about. There is nothing miserable about planning your funeral. It’s like planning a social event where you are being celebrated.

There are so many alternative for you when it comes to what to do with your dead body. Some are: Cremation and Burial. We will explain these two options for you and how they work.

Cremation

Cremation is process where your human remains are exposed to tremendous heat and it’s brought back to its basic elements. The final results are small bone fragment placed in a temporary container.

Burial

If you choose to go with a burial, you will have to locate some real estate. I mean your burial plot. If you want to choose burial, there are some things you have to put into consideration, which are:

If you choose to be shipped to your birth place or somewhere close to that, you may be moving far enough away from where your family or loved ones cannot visit.

Maybe you also have a spot reserved for you, maybe in your ex’s family plot or vault.

And lastly maybe you want to leave the decision to your kids; in this case, your kids will be the one to decide where you would be buried.

There are other options to decide on like the interment- Buried in the ground, Someone takes you home, Inurned- You will be placed in a columbarium at your church or memorial gardens, or you get scattered into a sea or favorite place. Also bear in your mind that to be scattered into the sea or favorite place, you may need to get a permit

Searching for a funeral director is quite like searching for a wedding planner. You always have to look for that wonderful planner; you want the planner to cater for our wishes. It’s so important to make some research and be sure your funeral home is the right one. It’s not bad to ask your friends how they were treated by their funeral home when they lost a loved one. Don’t be too shy of asking questions and making research for the best funeral home.

In one word, we all know Death is inevitable, that makes visiting a funeral home important for us today.
