Lenovo announces YOGA Tablet 2 series with a choice of 8- and 10-inch

Lenovo has officially announced its two new devices from YOGA Tablet 2 series. The Tablet 2 series have two 8-inch tablets and two 10-inch tablets in Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 KitKat versions. With the latest tablet releases in the form of Yoga Tablet 2 series as well in Android and Windows versions user will surely get impressed with it. As we got the choice to use the Android or Windows as the platform but the hardware is identical in both the tablets. Though, the tablets are different in operating system but identical in term of hardware.

The new Yoga Tablet 2 series comes in 8-inch or 10-inch display with full HD resolution with former size offering 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. For both the Windows and Android version the Yoga tablets are equipped with Intel’s quad-core Atom Z3745 Bay Trail processor with 2GB of RAM as well as the MicroSD card expansion. It also has a pair of upright optics, with 8 MegaPixel rear camera and a 1.6 MegaPixel front snapper. The 8-inch models holds 6400 mAh batteries, whereas the 10-inch models holds 9600 mAh batteries. Lenovo claims that the Windows models are going to run for 15 hours on a single charge and 18 hours on Android model. Users are getting larger option in series which is surely a best thing about these tablets. In Photography wise, the camera quiet is also quite good.

The 8-inch Android Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 comes at $250 (918 AED), whereas the 10-inch Android comes to $300 (1100 AED). Both the devices come in 16GB of internal storage. But in terms of capacity the Windows version claims to have 32GB of internal storage with optional microSD slot. The 10-inch Windows tablet will cost $400 (1469 AED) with 32GB of internal storage. It is a real kicker? It is beautifully designed plus got a long lasting battery life.  The Windows versions priced at $300 and $400 for 8-inch and 10-inch models, the 8-inch model will be available in November while 10-inch model will be available late October.
