Safety of school bus stop at intersection under review after crash

A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by a car as she tried to catch a school bus in Temple Hills, and another youth was injured in the crash while trying to protect younger children, according to Prince George County police. The male Crossland student struck by the same vehicle was taken to an area hospital after sustaining minor injuries. Police have not released his name or age. along the 3000 block of Brinkley Road, near two apartment complexes. According to police, the girl was crossing near an intersection to catch a school bus when a 2000 Lincoln Continental traveling in the eastbound lane struck her.
