A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by a car as she tried to catch a school bus in Temple Hills, and another youth was injured in the crash while trying to protect younger children, according to Prince George County police. The male Crossland student struck by the same vehicle was taken to an area hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
