Winter Melody

It always appears
At this time of year
And just the right time of the night
That
The stars are leaving the sky
No more sparkle and twinkle o’erhead
Now near my feet where I do tread
By light of day or moonlit night
Seem
Spinning in their orbits bright
Still shining
Still glowing
Their journey ended with earthbound flight
Reminding me
What I long to know
That far ’n near
Are as close
As
Below
