Jaipur’s date with fashion

The city recently witnessed a glitzy fashion evening, where designer Rajneeral Babutta showcased her creations and celebrated one year of her label Vhannah.

Designers Samant Chauhan, Nitya Bajaj Birla, Rajdeep Ranawat and Niket Mishra also presented some of their designs at this do. Adding some Bollywood glam to the evening was actress Neha Dhupia, who walked the ramp for Rajneeral.

Madhu Chopra, actress Priyanka Chopra's mother, was specially invited for this evening. Also spotted at the do were Vaneesh Chugh and choreographer Lokesh Sharma. Another important announcement made here was that the fourth edition of the Rajasthan Fashion Week will be held from June 17 to 21 in the city.

After the show, Neha spoke to us about her connection with Rajasthan, and said, "Very few people know that I have a strong connection with the state. My father hails from Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan, and I love going back to it. We have extended family there. But if you ask me about my favourite city, it's Jaipur and I feel like I belong to it. My wardrobe is full of stuff from Jaipur, be it clothes or jewellery or jootis.
