Huawei Ascend P7 Tablet gets dropped, scratched

So just how good is the build quality of the Huawei Ascend P7 Sale? Separate videos show the slate getting tortured with a couple of drops onto a hard wood floor, scratched up on the front and back of the tablet by sharp, pointy objects, and shot at by an air gun. How well did the tablet hold up? We will get to that soon.
First, we should take some time to go through the specs. The Huawei Ascend P7 Tablet carries a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560. That works out to a pixel density of 299ppi. Under the hood is a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC containing an octa-core 2GHz CPU and the Adreno 430 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of internal storage. Those requiring more memory can use the 128GB capacity microSD slot that comes with the tablet. An 8.1MP camera adorns the back of the unit while a 5MP snapper graces the front of the slate. A 6000mAh battery keeps the lights on and Android 5.0 is pre-installed.

As for the torture tests, the Huawei Honor 3X Tablet was undamaged by the first drop which had the tablet land right on the screen. The second drop saw the device land on its side with the same results. The front scratch test also worked out pretty good for the Xperia Z4 Tablet as the screen had nary a mark. But the back of the device caved in to scratches made by a coin and some other sharp object. Even spraying the tablet with some sort of "scratch-remover" failed to rid the slate of the marks.

The last two clips show the Huawei Ascend P7 Tablet taking it on the chin after being shot by an air gun. Considering that this is something that you normally wouldn't expect to see happen to your tablet on an average day, we can pretty much ignore the results of those two videos.
