Hi majed may your goals wishes for peace in the world and in Palestine come true for all or you. The Israel-Palestine conflict is worsening not becoming better, my wish is that both sides could live side by side, as we do in Australia, there is no need for this senseless religous war, for unfortuanately that is what is really going on in this conflict, there can only be peace with equanimity and tolerance of all religions and other cultures.

Thank you sooo much, Majed, for adding those pictures with the dancing children! That are really positive photos and I will ask Vincent, if he can use that one 'folklore with the children after the war' (100 4527) for the flyer.
Thank you for your message! Please believe in the members of iPeace, many of us are packing and sending parcels, but they will need some weeks to come to Israel. And we first have to find out the best things to send, to collect and buy them. My daughter had been ill with influenza for one week, so I couldn't go out for searching and buying the things. But I have already bought 20 packages of coloured pencils / crayons and try to get a lot of balloons tomorrow, they are very light and small, then they become big, have wonderful colours, children can also paint on them, play with them and have much fun - I hope. And coloured paper would be good.
Please, give us some time to get the things ready.
We care! Sabine

Thank you for your wonderful efforts in Gaza, dear Majed! I have donated money twice to the Aid Children of Gaza fund, and will start to collect clothing, school supplies and toys to mail.
Stay strong: there are millions of people around the world who are speaking out on behalf of the people in the Occupied Territories, and doing whatever they can to help,
Joanna

Dear Majed, thank you for your presence and for the comment you left in the AID group.
Could you, please, somehow, send a positive picture with boy(s) and girl(s) from Gaza to Vincent? Or if it is easier, could you add one to your page? Technically it's the same as adding your profile picture. Maybe, it is hardly possible for you to get such a positive picture... But with such a photo Vincent could create a FLYER that would be translated in many langugages and we could go to schools and other places to gain a lot more people to send PARCELS. It is very good for interested people to held something like a flyer in her hand containing all the necessary information.
Be sure, that a lot of people around the world have compassion with the suffering people in Gaza. And a lot of them - like my daughter and me - are praying for you. Sabine

P.S.: I was looking for a nice photo of children to add it here. When I saw this mandala, I thought that fits: It was created by 28 six and seven years old children, who just brought sand, soil and stones from the streets and the surrounding. TOGETHER they made this wonderful symbol. 9 children with a family-background in Italy, 9 from Turkish / Islamic families / 9 from Germany and one from Kosovo / Albania. They were all in my class while I worked as a teacher in a primary school. And for weeks, the mandala lay in the center of our class and gave us its energy of beauty and putting something in order.
Maybe, if there is not to much wind and rain, you or some friends of you could do something like this with children in a public space in Gaza City. The smallest and poorest could add something. And just with the stones and the sand lying around THEY CAN CREATE a work of art and peace and impress and touch the grown-ups.
What do you think about this idea? Maybe, some weeks have to pass and the situation with all the chaos and suffering has to improve first. But creating and seeing something like this can be a healing inspiration...

Please tell me how are you coping my peaceful friend. Please keep in touch as I worry terribly about the middle east. Is it possible that peace can exist with Hamas refusing to acknowledge ISRAELS right to exist. WHERE is FATAH.. where are the moderates on both sides of the questions. I recently saw SOUTH PACIFIC a show developed out of WWII there is a song in the show.. something like " You have to be taught
Before it's too late.
Before you are six or seven or eight
to hate all the people your relatives hate.
You have to be carefully taught.
and this is seems so very true.. everyone seems
to teach their children hate. The media the fundamentalists prove it on every side. Lets pray for peace. for tolerance For understanding and forgiveness every day. We must teach our children peace. FERN

Dear Majed, today I red this notice:
$6.5 Million for UNRWA from Saudi Arabia
11 January - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign for the Relief of the People of Gaza is sending UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) $6 million USD to provide food for the people of Gaza. It is also sending $500,000 to buy fuel which UNRWA provides to municipalities and utilities in Gaza to pump water and incinerate refuse, both essential operations in prevent outbreaks of disease. The funds for food will enable UNRWA to provide food packages to 550,000 people for sixty days.
Welcoming the donations, Karen Koning AbuZayd, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, said: “This is an enormous help to UNRWA and the people of Gaza, coming at a time of dire need. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both government and people, have been generous in the past to Gaza, the Saudi Committee for the Support of the Palestinian People having donated last summer $5 million for Gaza, as well as $1 million for refugees in Lebanon. Saudi Arabia has also financed major housing projects in Gaza, unfortunately unfinished because of the blockade. (...)

Dear Majed, thank you sooo much for your answer to my question. Now, I'm sure that all the things sent in the parcels will find their way to those who need them most. Great, that YOU will do the distribution!
I asked Vincent from the workshop within the Aid-Group, if he could create a flyer just for this parcel-project. That could be translated in any language and then brought to schools and other institutions to gain many people for sending things and love to Gaza.
For another flyer, Vincent has used a wonderful photo with three boys from Gaza. But a photo with girl(s) and boy(s) would be better for gaining everybody.
Would it be possible for you to add one photo onto your page or within the Aid-Group? That would be very helpful to create the best flyer possible.
Thank you sooo much, Majed, for BEING and ACTING with so much LOVE in GAZA and HERE!

Hi Majed

Thank you for your kind comments. I have emailed a toy company (gogo crazy bones!) and asked them to consider helping. Perhaps other people could do similar? I can contribute costs, but it would be great is lots of packets of small toys could arrive... and bring joy to the children.

I shall think of others to email...

Abundant blessings

Dear Majed, I see that it's no so common that israelis will live a comment in your page I guess it's fear, even here. I don't afraid from you, i think we both sinking in the same bote...this situation is ugly, and i have no justification for what is going on at Gaza now, i don't have any sollution too. Of course i'm not responsible for what the army is doing to the population at your city, as much as you are not responsible for the stupidity of the hamas- we are both victems in a way for the actions of our leaders (which i didn't choose).
My heart is with you, i'm sure your life situation is much worse than mine and i'm sorry for that, i'm sure you deserve to live safe and happy as i am.
Please don't hate israelis- it wo'nt make any better...the conflicts is between labels: "palestinian", "israelis", but you are not a label, and you are not too- you are full and holy human being.
I send you my love, and to all that surronds you and suffer- you are not alone
i don't want to fight for lend, insha'alla it will get better
Hila
