Dear Iubna,

Your are right! Only that the air we are breathing is not exactly the same, what -. I believe - was one of the factors why so many and somehow different religions appeared on this planet. In the tropical world you will find a different approach to life than in the Arctic regions. The "rules" will also apply to the environment and have therefore necessarily to be different from place to place. but the underlying message, this grandiose evolution of consciousness and hence our question for the quest of man, arises out of the same fountain - that inner call to look over the "fence of our life" . And, remember: The inner call or the intellectual curiosity appears to be the major force for whatever evolution mankind has undergone and achieved. Having this unique consciousness, we cannot believe that still we are nothing else but a physical body over a period of approx 70 years. Why should we have developed this consciousness? For a physical movement of this body over 70 years?
Why can we imagine things happening without them happening at all? Why have we developed the possibility of analysing matters and thoughts, dreams belonging to the past and somehow projecting possible consequences into the future?
A very good evening to you!
Richard

Thank you very much for your comment.Your may use different words - but I believe you advocate the inbuild diversity both in nature as well as within our cognitive possibilities as a great achievement of mankind. I fully agree. The existence of truth does not depend on our ability to see it, as you rightly put it.
I wonder if you would agree with the metaphor of an (invisible) "field" surrounding every person. Within this"field" everyobdy is his own decision maker. But if two people of (different structrued) "fields" get too close to each other, a possible conflict may arise. You do feel automatically pleasant in the proximity of one person , but quite uncomfortable in that of another. Still, here ( consciously awakend) tolerance should come into play if you sense conflict. And in this case we ought to respect THE OTHERNESS by saying that your freedom goes only upto the "border" of your"field" as it does with me, with the person next to you and that next to hat person etc. If everybody acts accordingly ( with respect towards the otherness) - peace would prevail! My peace and your peace!
Yes, in nature as well as humans diversity is wealth, not poverty or sterile, not black and white, but color.
With your synopsis and metaphor of that field I also agree. If there is a root, to laws, then I think that would be to insure freedom, but... along these lines, that you have the right to do with your own life (and mind) whatever you wish to "so long as" it does not prevent someone else from also doing what they want to with their own life.
In this way, I have no desire to respect those of disrespect, especially of other peoples rights.
But also in the math of good vs evil, is there are things these separate items have in common, or patterns.
That in truth, and good, the common math is "union"
In deception, and evil, the common math is "division"
So that if you and I disagree on something, it is the good path to take, to find first and give more power to what we or our perspective has "in common" rather than different.
So I study different religions, for that which is "in common" not giving greater focus to what is "different" other than to see with an open mind, if there is also truth to that, that I am not seeing.
This is why when a religion speaks of "dividing" by isolation of itself, and "others", I just go looking for a different one, because the one I serve is of union, not division.
Separate, is welcome and fine! But to "us" vs "them" I walk away from that kind of thinking.
There is only "us" as separate individuals, styles of governments, cultures, etc. with a whole LOT in common!

Thank you,Tree Thunderchild !I think I can fully appreciate your position, your thinking, your experience. Mine is telling me similar conclusions (after I have been living in 7 countries on 4 continents - each time for years!). Alle people know to laugh and know to cry, to long for this or that and to fear something - and in most cases to venerate something, somebody, to believe in values and - normally - to be very preoccupied with the next generation, their sons and daughters. Yes, they have their values, they have their dreams and wishes.. And one of the most powerful tools in social terms is their cohesion, their belonging together, their inherent drive to be part of a group, a tribe, at least of an association if not of the entire society they are living in and they are part of. And in all these cases, they primarily look for similarities , as these are the elements to shape their identity. But in many African and Asian surroundings I saw altars with Gods from different religions being venerated side by side. And these people proved in general to be the most generous and tolerant people also towards me/us, the "foreigners", towards the otherness.
I am a little late in finding this post and responding but I am intrigued by this question; why so many religions, and have enjoyed reading the posts and thoughts put forth herein. I believe that all life came forth from a supreme creator as the bible tells us (Revelations 4:11) and that He had/has a definite purpose in creating and putting life here upon this earth. I realize that not all believe this, but supposing for a second that it is true, I have difficulty in believing that an almighty God and creator would put earthly children on the earth, and not give us instructions and answer questions as to why we are here and what He expects of us as His children. Most of us have families and appreciate; even though we don’t have all the answers or even at times the right answers, how lost our children would be without some direction in life. The bible tells us, that while written by men the bible is inspired by God, and I have no difficulty in thinking that an almighty creator who has the wisdom and power to create all that we see in nature could preserve his thoughts pretty much in tack down through the centuries. Does it seem reasonable that such a loving creator would give his children confusing and conflicting directions in the bible as to how we should approach and worship Him to carry out His purpose for us in life? On one occasion Jesus referred to God word as being “Truth” (see John 17:17). Now to humans what we think is truth one year, such as the world is flat, we might well find out in another year is not true. But to God who knows all things would not His words remain the truth forever? Would we not expect to be able to go to His word and find the truth, the true and accurate message that He has for His children?

Now, if we want to refer to the way in which God wants us to serve Him and carry out His purpose here on the earth as a religion, why would He give us hundreds and hundreds of religions? Doesn’t make sense that He would do this, but if all these conflicting religions are not from God, then from whom? In fact, God in the pages of the bible tells us why there are so many religions and who is responsible. In the bible, in the book of John, Jesus on one occasion in talking to the religious leaders of his day who would not listen to him, in verse 44 said this; “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies”. This verse tells us several things; Satan was at one time in the truth, apparently part of God’s family, but he chose not to continue in the truth and as such he made the start in telling lies about God and misleading individuals away from God. I don’t want to spend to much time on Satan at the moment, but here we see that the bible tells us that this spirit individual had apparently taken a course in opposition to God and now was spreading lies about God to get others to follow his course.

It is also interesting to note that these individuals who were opposing Jesus and listening to the devil were religious leaders. So could we say that the religion that they were teaching was from God? Jesus said they were not holding to the truth, to God’s word, but were listening to Satan. So it is reasonable to thing that their religion was from Satan would it not? In fact, if Satan wanted others to follow him and not God, would there be a better way than to build false religions that appeared to serve God but put forth conflicting and confusing teaching that in fact mislead people from God? It is of interest to note that this in exactly what the bible shows. In the book of 2Corinthians 4:4 for example, it says Satan has blinded the eyes of mankind to the truth of God’s word. 2Corinthians 11:14-15 adding; “for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works”. On another occasion Jesus said of his followers (today called Christians), at Matthew 7:21-23; "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Notice Jesus said that many who claimed to follow him, to be in the truth, doing powerful works in his name, were in fact doing works of lawlessness, because they were in reality not doing his Fathers’ will.
Also, in the book of 2Thessalonians 2:9-12, it speaks again of Satan misleading by powerful works, saying “…according to the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved. So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie, in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness”.

The point is this; that the bible shows that Satan has the power to mislead mankind making them think that they are instead serving God. But if this is the case how would anyone be able to distinguish the good from the bad, Right religion from wrong religion? 1John 4:1 says; “Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world”. How would one test what a religion was telling them? Of the ancient people in the city of Beorea, the bible says; “…for they received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so” -Acts 17:11. How many people today, who claim to be Christians, really take the time to examine God’s word of truth to see if in fact what they are being taught is the truth according to the bible? Most people just accept the fact that if some teacher claims to be “Christian”, they must represent God, but nothing could be further from the truth.

On another occasion, at Matthew 7:14-15 Jesus said; “"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit”. Titus 1:16 saying of such ones; “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good”.

Many people today are being turned away from God and confused because of the rotten fruitage of false Christians, but if they really cared and wanted the truth would they not search Gods’ word for the answers.
And the sad truth is not everyone wants the truth, as the religious leaders in Jesus’ day who would rather believe the lies of Satan because it suited their purpose. 2Tim 4:3-4 says of many professed Christians in our day; “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths”.

One finial thought, because so many prefer to listen to Satan the bible says at Matthew 7:13-14; “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it”. The bible does not teach that all will find the truth, because all are not interested in the truth cramping their life style, the truth makes us responsibility to God to live our lives as He teaches us to, few in the world want to make necessary changes, see Ephesians 4:17-24. Greetings to All, I like the topic. Basically I don't care much about the religions, I read the Qu'ran a very good book and I prefer it over the bible, god is always forgiving, Allah is mostly forgiving etc etc etc;
I don't understand when I find books on Buddhism in the library under the section New Age, Buddhism is over 2500 years old, I don't understand how Jesus is abused for monetary and political purposes, Jesus a wonderful person, a messenger who said "the kingdom is i me" and I like that God is in me and nowhere else.
There is no master potter making little adams and breathing air in its body. We look at poor catholic countries people falling down in their knees praying for money not for bread and cheating and killing a minute later. Have a look at my Discussion topic catholic priest blesses weapons against Muslims in Mindanao. So anyway, this is not the point there are crazy things happening around us nobody really knows how to put things in a proper context and it is still valid when the cardinal said to the king yo keep them poor and i keep them dumb. End of the flagpole and now something to think about, may be can contribute here and there to some ventilation of the brain/mind whatever you want to call it.

1. Our society is based on Christian morality and ethics, which is anti intellectual, and anti"supernatural." The whole point of christianity is to keep people from having genuine spiritual experiences so that those people can be controlled. The whole point of Christianity is to keep people inside a mental cage, keep them dull and slow, and beholden to the Church. The whole point of Christianity is to make people into sheep; to herd people against their better interests away from the possibility of having genuine spiritual experience. If you could talk to god, you would usurp the churches authority over you. The whole point of christianity is to keep people in a cage of "Faith" and "Belief." They demand merely that you believe in their propaganda and lies, and provide no access to actual spiritual reality. If you follow their advice on spiritual matters, you will demonize the reptilian mind and thus end up inside an eternal war inside the psyche with yourself.

2. Atheism, Agnosticism, Satanism, New Age, And Anarchism are all easy rebellions in a hatbox that are designed to give people prescribed means and thought patterns by which to rebel against christianity, while still caging them in the box of thinking other peoples thoughts, and while still caging them in the box of not having actual spiritual experiences, and caging them in the box of not having access to altered states of consciousness. Each of these paradigms appeals to people with different temperments, but each of them is really just the same psychological sentiment; "Christianity is bogus, so rebel." The problem is that the rebellion is thus contained and made harmless by paradigms which fail to disclose that they are really just branches of Christianity. Atheism is just Another type of Christianity; The Christians who don't believe in God. They make all the same assumptions, and they use all the same false dualities. They are proponents of the same morality, and the same "belief" based system of thinking. Atheism denies that god exists and manages to pull this off because due to christianity, most people haven't experienced god. But Atheism is just a reversal; a belief in not believing. All of these paradigm are just Christianity in photo negative; an experiment in double think; simply reversing a belief system and turning it inside out and then pretending that its not the same thing that you started with.

3. Most other paradigms are infiltrated. The New Age movement is cointelpro operated and authored. They use infiltrators posing as legitamate participants to conquer and divide within. Wicca, the Hippie movement, and American Versions of Budhism all suffer from being infiltrated and watered down so that they don't work and don't deliver the actual access to altered states of consciousness, or personal psychological liberty. The main and most dominant feature of this is that the one thing they will attempt to prevent at all costs is for anybody to have a genuine spiritual experience. If people start experiencing God or altered states of consciousness, they will very quickly realize that they have been misled and controlled, and their capacity to remain controlled will rapidly evaporate. Spirituality is thus used by the vampyres and luxocrats as a means to control the masses, as a way to program people and control mob movements.

4. This includes the modern sciences, which would be all of them much further along were it not for the intentional propaganda and lies and political mucking around that is done to keep people from gaining momentum with science knowledge. Modern psychology could deliver on the promise to build a functional spiritual practice, but its infiltrated and scattered and turned into a bickerfest instead of putting all of the peices of the puzzle together, Modern Psychology is really about 50 white men, their ideas, a few token other people, their ideas, and the bickering that ensues as people try to use theories as politicized excuses for more social control, esp psychiatry, which is hellbent on drugging people to keep them stupid. All of the sciences are effected, even the hard sciences. We would have hover cars and soft nuclear power and all sorts of free energy devices and all kinds of technologies were it not for the fact that the luxocrats control technology so that it benefits keeping them rich. Technologies which would empower individuals are hidden, destroyed, or obfuscated. Free energy devices are patents that are bought up by the oil industry (usually under serious pressure) and which are then not implemented.

5. Despite all of this, acheiving real spiritual experiences is actually very simple if you get your facts straight. The simple use of modern psychologies tools can bypass all the bickering created by religions, and its very easy if you know what you are looking at to apply modern psychology to get reproducable results. The simple formulae to follow is this; A; There are four main states of consciousness when measured according to brainwaves. B; Each of these states of consciousness can be further subdivided into two main types; sleeping and waking states. C; Most people will only ever experience while awake only one brainwave state. D; All four types of brainwaves are going on all the time. What state you are in depends mostly on which brainwave type is dominant, and which areas of the brain are operational. A lot of trickery goes on getting people into alleged altered states of consciousness when they are actually still in a beta state but with increased activity of the other types of brainwaves. Most hoaxes are based on not telling you the difference between simply adding two brainwave patterns together, and actually changing state. E; Beta Brainwaves are the ones responsible for waking states of consciousness. F; Alpha, Delta, And Theta brainwave states are mostly only ever experienced by people who are asleep. Spiritual life is really about acheiveing waking versions of alpha, delta, and theta brainwave states. G; It is next to impossible to acheive waking delta states without first learning to achieve waking alpha states, and next to impossible to acheive waking theta states without first acheiving waking delta states. One has to learn to crawl, then walk, then run, each level builds skills which enable and empower exploration at the next level.

6. New age materials are intentional misinformation, and a lot of that kind of information if followed will yeild no results, or bad results. For every good reality model or schema out there, there are five more that were designed just to flood the market and make it harder to get anywhere. Most alleged Psychics are fakers, frauds, and Charlatans. Most alleged "Channelers" are just selling books with a cheap gimmick.

7. The most useful paradigms other than modern psychology to help one get anywhere useful come from genuine spiritual paths of shamanistic societies. Wicce, Wicca, Stregheria, Druidism, Huna, Taoism, Budhism are all examples of religions which can work to help a person achieve genuine spiritual experiences. However, each of these paradigms has also been infiltrated by propaganda warriors who water thigns down, give disinfo and lies, and who in general try to make the paradigm useless for most people. Most western practicioners of these shamanistic paths thus still get no traction from their efforts because they don't know how to sort the good from the bad.

Hi Hans enjoyed your post as you make some good points. You say you don’t care much for religion, there we agree, however I have to include the thought that bad religion does not make the bible wrong, nor does it mean that the bible does not contain His message to his human children. It just means that bad religion has lied and twisted God’s message to suit their purpose. It is as the apostle Paul said on one occasion to a group of then church elders, saying; “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them”.

Yes there are many crazy and hard to understand things going on in the world, but they are not hard to understand Hans if one understands a couple of basic bible teachings that the main stream Christian churches won’t teach you. You may not believe this but I invite you to get out your bible and read a few scriptures. As I tried to point out in my last post, there are so many religions because of Satan’s influence in the world. Luke 4:6 says; “So he brought him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time; and the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and to whomever I wish I give it”. The bible plainly teaches that the governments of this world are under the authority of Satan. In the book of 1John 5:19 it says; “We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one”. (NIV) James 4:4 plainly says; “You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God”. They are adulterous because instead of doing God’s will they have gone to bed with the politicians, and instead of teaching people about and to look forward to God’s kingdom that is going to bring peace and security to the earth, they point people to put their trust in Satan’s governments. (Compare Mt 24:14; Rom 10:10-15) Is it not so hard to understand all the wickedness in the world when you understand this point, but religion has not for obvious reasons, taught the people the truth.

God’s purpose, as put forth in Genesis, is for the earth to be filled with righteousness and people living in perfect health and happiness. Psalms 37:10-11; 29 says; “And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace”, “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it”.

From all the evidence (see Mt chapter 24, 2Tim 3:1-5, Rev 6:1-8) we are living in the time of the end for the wicked. One of the major signs of the last days is Matthew 24:14 that says; “And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come”. This work is now being accomplished through out the earth as people are being taught to look to the kingdom not Satan’s government (see psalms chapter 2). Why the increase in turmoil on the earth? Revelations 12:12 says; “Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short". All the damage that Satan and his organizations, both political and religious, have brought to the earth will be undone.

The kind of spiritual experience you are talking about in the last part of your post is fine and can be beneficial at times, but the spiritual experience the bible talks about is one having a good relationship with their creator, following His direction and having His spirit in one’s life, and having the hope of life when the earth is restored to what God meant it to be before Satan rebelled.
Dear Hans Valerius
I admire your writings and see that u are very near from the truth and your mind is not affected with the hallucinations in the world. My dear friend, keep your search and u will reach.

Some people wrongly think that they are the only to have the truth because they had limited think and blinded from what is all around them because they do not see except what is lactating from their parents.
Dear Ali, salaam alaykum, thanks for your words, very much appreciated, yes I am working hard to find the answer to many things and this means to read a lot every day, the most difficult one is to handle anger. Greed quite easy to handle but anger is difficult, but keep on trying.

Hi there, yes to the root cause, would be good people would recognize that. Need religion, what I observe people need somebody to blame for and they even don't stop in front of god or whatever they call it.
The society made them like that, they were given a system that was the easiest way for them to accept, it came so handy. Is like in democracy, people vote and after voting they leave everything to the government, the elected party. They complain but they don't open their mouth in public, they don't fight for their rights and they don't fight for democracy, again everything is so handy. Democracy is a very fragile affair and some of the people actually do not realize how many of the democracies are fake ones, even in the sophisticated Europe. The joke is they point at other countries and talk bad when other countries do not have democracy but don't understand that democracy must be learned first and then slowly be built up.
Cheers
Hi Max, People do need to believe in someone higher than themselves because that is the way we are created. That’s why Jesus said “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.” (Matthew 5:3). Man was created with a spiritual need, or a need to be conscious of their spiritual side, because as Jesus said; “Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through Jehovah’s mouth.” (Matthew 4:4) Notice, Jesus said that God is the source of “every utterance” vital to our life. It is vital to our life because God’s word does answer the vital questions we need to understand the world that we live in and why there is so much wickedness, and it teaches us how to live our lives in a way to be pleasing to our creator (Mt 7:21-21). While at this present time we can not always have a peaceful and secure life, having a close relationship with God enables us to have, as Philippians 4:6-7 says; the peace of God that excels all thought to guard our hearts and our mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.

The bible tells us that when Adam sinned sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned. (Rom 5:12) Because Adam was now imperfect he could only pass on imperfection to his earthly children, but this inheritance brought more than death to mankind. This fleshly imperfection has also brought the things you mention; hatred, anger, jealousy, greed, and misunderstanding, (see Galatians 5:19-20).

You say that as long as this root cause of the problem is not taken care of the problems will always exist, and you are right. The root problem is that mankind is imperfect. You, nor I, nor any other human will ever be able to correct this problem. Man’s governments have enacted thousands and thousands of laws to no avail. The bible says; “The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). In the bible the heart represents one’s innermost self, who we are as a person. Man is not able to change the inherited imperfections that are part of every human beings heart so as to eradicate wrong desires and actions. That’s why Proverbs 28:26 says; “He that is trusting in his own heart is stupid, but he that is walking in wisdom is the one that will escape”. How do we get this wisdom? Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding say Proverbs 3:5. Isaiah 48:17-18 says; “This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit [yourself], the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. 18 O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea”. While an ever growing number of people realize that Christendom is not feeding them the truth, or teaching them how to apply Godly principles in their lives, they still do not search God’s word themselves for the truth. Amos 8:11 says; “Look! There are days coming,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, ‘and I will send a famine into the land, a famine, not for bread, and a thirst, not for water, but for hearing the words of Jehovah”. We are living in that day.

When it comes to religion it is a common thought in the world any more that there is no truth except what you want to except as truth. Is this really true? Jesus said on one occasion; “And so Jesus went on to say to the Jews that had believed him: “If YOU remain in my word, YOU are really my disciples, 32 and YOU will know the truth, and the truth will set YOU free.” (John 8:32) Does this come without effort? No, the principle of Acts 17:11 is that we have to search and examine God’s word to find the truth. The first twelve verses of Proverbs likens this hunting for the truths in the bible to hunting for silver and gold, silver and gold don’t normally just lay on the surface of the ground but you have to hunt and search for it. Do people do that? Do they hunt and search God’s word to see if they are being taught the truth? No they don’t, ninety nine percent of those who say they are Christian can’t pick up a bible and show you scriptures that back up what they believe. If you examine the bible, like going to court, and really look and examine all the evidence for, or against, any teaching, one can find the truth. This is true of any religious book you want to mention, but one has to be willing to examine without prejudice and except the outcome whether they like it or not. “There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward” (proverbs 14:12).
Why did we need to invent religion, i think it's just because we are scared of death and human king want to feel like being the choosen kind on this planet, it's a good way too for the power to control the people. Put them down in such beleive and you will have perfect slaves.
