The Aga Khan Palace was constructed by Sultan Mohammed Shah, Aga Khan III, in the year 1892. Built in Yerwada, near Pune, it was intended to be a source of employment for the famine-struck villagers in the surrounding areas. Prince Karim El Husseni, Aga Khan IV, donated the palace to the Government of India in 1969, in memory of Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophy. ----------------------------------------

A paz é o caminho
La paz es el sonido de la corriente que pasa,
De las aves que vienen a decir los buenos días
De niños jugando en un día de sol.

Tener la paz es soñar despierto
Tenga paz y no se avergüenza de

Sonreír, a llorar
Para pedir, dar las gracias.

Paz Tener es para poder tener

Muchos dicen que regrese ---

Tenga Paz es la búsqueda de la igualdad y la unidad dentro de la familia

Peace is the sound of the current flowing,
Of the birds that come to say good morning
Of children playing on a sunny day.

Having peace is daydreaming
Have peace and not ashamed of

Smile, to mourn
To order, thank you.

Have peace is to have power to
Continue even when
Many say that back ---

Have peace is the pursuit of equality and unity within the family
If you have peace ... know to bring peace to the world

Gandhi's maxim "Become the change that; you want to see in the world" is rare among activists to achieve environmental balance and human peace. This maxim (main message) is the foundation of cultural healing. Almost universally, social and environmental groups are working with 'institutional' practices of working on single issues at a time, financed by government grants or volunteerism yet always with the hidden hand or context of monetary capitalism. These fragmented approaches lead to the bureaucracy of eventual government administration of social programs rather than cultural (family and community based programs)

It is interesting if we combine Gandhi's 'becoming' maxim with 'indigenous' (Latin = 'self-generating') economic practices from around the world. Indigenous peoples integrated many 'cultural' (system's design, holistic, multi-disciplinary)factors of which the livelihood (subjective reality) of the people always came first.

Indigenous peoples were able to achieve cultural solutions because the massive productivity of their sylvalization's Orchard gardens is 100 times that of 'agri' (Latin = 'field') culture along with social-economic governance practices for recognising the contributions of all citizens.

Indigenous 'String-shell' (many kinds around the world) accounting practices within Production Societies or Guilds were time-based and allowed for all to contribute and be recognised in a combination of capital, condolence (social-security), currency, conveyance (inter-personal and national relations), communications (accounting has an important role to play in most communications) and more.

The Longhouse, pueblo, pithouse, village and other clustered convivial human settlements of indigenous peoples allowed for collaboration in domestic labours and therefore this Production Society specialisation and accounting recognition at the foundation of 'economics' (Greek = 'care and nurture of the home and family').

Today half of our populations live in Apartments and townhouse style buildings which with the addition of indigenous systems of recognition can bring heart and collective mind back into our communities and meaning for our time of 'Become the change you want to see in the world'.

Gandhi Forward the political process from a rescue profound than most honest, beautiful and lasting is the tradition and soul of its people, this is one of the lessons that leaves us Mahatma Gandhi.
Non-violence
Using the truth as your weapon power is unquestionable
