A100 Pictures, Images and Photos

I have started this mainly for Les as he is the photographer amongst us, and this will be a place were we can all visit to see what he has snapped, rather than have then scattered about the group. My postings will mainly be what I have found on the web, I will mark the ones that were taken by either my son or daughter :) If you want to just post a photo, as many as you like, with no explanation that's fine, but if you want to let us know a little more about the image that would be great.

Great picture Sophie! And nice friend too. We usually have a male pheasant 'keeping his head down' in our garden during the shooting season but he wasn't with us last year. I fear the worst!
Thank you Les, he is lovely. I'm sure your pheasant has just moved on to a new territory, we have three males, the two others disappear in the breeding season, Bono sees them off... they soon come back in the winter for their feed though, as soon as they are allowed that that is!!!!
Let's hope so! Several of the neighbours feed the birds too so maybe he just decided to try a different restaurant.
He used to amuse us by flapping up and bashing the seed-feeder with his beak to make seed fall on the ground then he'd munch it all up and start again!
Pheasants are so comic, Bono even sulks sometimes! Some people think pheasants are stupid but they are far from it, the reason they don't fly until they have too is they know once they are in the air that's pretty much it as far as life is concerned.
A friend invited me to a Biker festival this weekend. The party started on Thursday and will carry on until Sunday night. I only had 24 hours to indulge myself so I jumped in my car and made the 2 hour drive north to a place called the Riverside campground where over 500 devoted souls gathered together. Ironically enough the campground is directly across the highway from a tourist attraction I have longed to visit for years. I have more photos of the campground and the folks there, but will post at a later date. Enjoy. (the photo of the bridge across the eel river is a recent development for anyone who has not visited the great redwood forest in the past year).

What a wonderful place, I love trees a lot, they are very special. Trees and water together are my ultimate sight to see. Bigfoot country.....wow... did you see one? I used to watch a tv programme about a bigfoot, can't remember the name, but could of well just been "Bigfoot", it was a childrens show so no insights into a real one.

It must have had a great time, can't wait to see some more pictures. Thanks for posting these, I hope you had a really good nights rest xoxoxox
Beautiful Melody! I really enjoyed those and look forward to some more. You must have had a great time. Do you need someone to carry your bag next time?
That's a good idea Les, perhaps we can all offer to be melody's sherpas :o)
This gets better and better!
I can't wait for melody to wake up :)
Do you think she'll be recruiting?
I don't know..... she is very nice, she might take pity on us and invite us all along... fingers crossed
