Beautiful photographs

I have started this mainly for Les as he is the photographer amongst us, and this will be a place were we can all visit to see what he has snapped, rather than have then scattered about the group. My postings will mainly be what I have found on the web, I will mark the ones that were taken by either my son or daughter :) If you want to just post a photo, as many as you like, with no explanation that's fine, but if you want to let us know a little more about the image that would be great.

That's really nice when things get passed on. I buy lots of books, I really like them. Sophie has her grandmothers poetry book.

I had a shirt that my mother wore and gave to me, I them passed it on to Sophie and she wears it. The shirts is over 30 years old and still looks as good as it did when it was new. It can from Marks and Spencers!

Gracias Vicky. It really was an impressive sunset. There were lots of people out there getting photos of it. The light was changing so quickly that you could many photos and they would all be different. It was one of those opportunities not to be missed!

I should just add that this image has not been changed or enhanced in any way, it didn't need it! Mother Nature did all the work, I just pressed the button!

Also Erika, you mentioned that you used a compact for a particular photo recently. All mine are on a digital compact and the results are pretty impressive as you can see. They really are great little things!

You should not be so modest Les, there are plenty with many different types of cameras, simple to complex, that could not take a good photo!

I was looking around, trying to find some photos so I can properly introduce myself and came across these. We took them about 2 years ago upon a visit to San Francisco. The bridge scene caught my eye and I thought I would post. Good day!!!

The girl who holds the little boy is my daughter and grandson. Hubby is in the back drop. He thinks I go way over board with my camera. My little family has ties to Mexico and my grandson who is now 4 speaks two languages. I love that you speak more than one language, of course your 1st being loving.
