A friend of mine worked, some 35-ish years ago in a menswear shop in Kingly Street (behind Carnaby Street), and T.C. walked in and wanted a suit, he was playing The Palladium, around the corner.....as you are aware, he was HUGE !....any ol' how, my pal only had one that'd fit, and Tommy said he wanted to walk around the block to think about it. He [T.C.] then layed his briefcase down on the shop's central table, opened it and took out a lump of wood, like a house-brick, put the thing on the floor, walked around it and said, "No, he'd leave it it for the time-being and might be back later, if he doesn't find something elsewhere" !!!!!!!!!!!!!.....See ya all later, God willin'.x

ps...Thank you for the nice remarks.x
What a great story Percy, Tommy Cooper was a truly a very very funny man :)
That was brilliant, I'm a vegetarian and I'm still killing myself laughing :)
Good ! Glad you liked it, I laughed all the way through when I watched before uploading....He was a truly Funny man !..........
.........See you a bit later, maybe.x
I have not seen this clip since it was on tv many years ago, it's so funny.
Yes, J, and a very solitary soul, too. When he died his house was less than minimal in it's decoration and furniture and he wandered around with a plastic carrier bag....But, the whole World loves B.H....his programmes are Worldwide famous.......
..,I did a shoot with him, for Carlton Television, out at Thorpe Park (a large amusement park over here), many years ago, at night...........It was nuts !

And then there was this..................................

I was never keen on BH when he was very popular in the UK, I thought he was just a "dirty old man", but I can now see the genius of his humour........

I always liked Ernie though!

Rising Damp was a must watch for me, all the girls loved Richard Beckinsale, shame he died so young, he was great in Porridge too.
Love the Avant Garde Cinema sketch... brilliant

Ernie the Milkman is great too :)

Poor Trigger... poor Ernie...
And speaking of Trigger................................. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Plus....
I've been to Thorpe Park quite a few times, love the tea cups :) they wouldn't let me on one of the rides, can't remember which one, because I was too small!

I love all the old comedies, Fawlty Towers, Dads Army, 'Allo 'Allo etc. I watch the episodes on youtube sometimes :) one I've seen before... but always enjoy watching again, not too P.C but very very funny lol

Beautiful cat :)
Yes he is English... born in Hampshire, and lived in Teddington
