Anyone heard of Will Hay and his films ?..............A fabulous comedy actor, along with the John Laurie, who, in his 40's still looks as he did 35 years later, in 'Dad's Army' !
Note the gas mask box around Will's neck...........................This would've been around 1942-ish, I think.....

John Laurie I know, but don't remember Will Hay, though I do recognise his face from other things..... I must be too young!
John was very funny in Dad's Army.
My Grandparents had a air raid shelter at the bottom of their garden.

French and Saunder's are no longer a double act, as they have retired, but they still perform as individuals and write together.
You probably have to be horsey to get the most from this sketch...
I think Jasper (Jasper ??? He must've gone through it at school in Birmingham!!...and with the surname, Carrot !!...Poor sod. It's like Mr. & Mrs. Birtwhistle when they had their new born..."I know, darling, let's call him Harrison, I've always liked that name !"...Harrison Birtwhistle...He had to become a composer !) Carot's so funny...just some of his expressions make me laugh...........
Comedian Peter Kay makes the audience giggle as he recounts his close encounter with a group of robbers.

Peter Kay is so funny.... I know what he means by delayed reactions, I suffer from that too.
Family Wedding routine is so so funny. I've never been to a wedding anything like it, the only ones I have attended have been the ceremony followed by something to eat, ranging from a few canapes to a very nice meal. All had plenty of alcohol though!

Actually you have jogged my memory, I have been to a wedding like that, a long long time ago when I was a bridesmaid to my friends brother. I can't remember where the reception or the wedding was but my friend lived in Whitehorse Road, Thornton Heath, and all the festivities were not far from their home.
That was 1960 something.

Is Heather Mills in there somewhere?
I carried Shakie on the aircraft once, he did not display a great deal of charisma!
